Before I found my way into acting, I studied philosophy and pop-jazz singing. At one point, I realised that these different interests meet in the world of acting, which led me to my studies in the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve been interested in literature and music – the arts which present the possibility of creating anything out of nothing through imagination. For the same reason, I have always been passionate about theatre and cinema and I’m beyond grateful for being able to use these mediums now to tell stories and create worlds myself. What fascinates me most about acting is that it forces me to try to understand the characters, and through them people and human nature in general: why people are who they are and why they do what they do.

I am lucky to have had opportunities on my professional path to combine the two great loves of mine – singing and acting – and hope there will be many more in the future.
